NEW YORK -- Wilmer Valderrama, Laurence Fishburne, Amber Valletta, Lupe
Ontiveros, Jesse Garcia and rapper Kurupt will star in Celia Fox's urban gang
thriller "Days of Wrath."

The film, which began principal photography Wednesday in Los Angeles, revolves
around a wide group of interconnected Los Angelenos who struggle to survive as a
war between a Latino and black gang ravages the city. Valderrama plays Daniel, a
thug who sets off the gang war after stealing a rapper's car and accidentally killing
the mother of his own Latino gang's kingpin (Garcia).

Fishburne plays a teacher, mentor and voice of reason to the warring gang members.
Ontiveros plays the kingpin's grandmother.

Rounding out the ensemble cast of the indie feature are Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Ana
Claudia Talancon and rap artists David Banner, Rick Ross and Stavye "Slim Thug"
Thomas.

Morgan plays a ruthless TV producer romantically involved with his anchorwoman
(Valletta) who sends his correspondent (Talancon) and her cameraman (Kurupt)
into the crossfire. He seeks to exploit the turmoil for ratings even after discovering
that the murdered woman is his ex-lover and the kingpin is his son. Banner, Ross
and Thomas play members of the black gang.

First-time feature director Fox wrote the 2003 Anna Nicole Smith vehicle "Wasabi
Tuna." She penned "Wrath" with Mitchell Kapner ("The Whole Nine Yards") and
Michael Markee.

Fox is producing "Wrath" under her Foxy Films banner with the film's editor,
Michael D. Schultz, and Marie Cantin ("The Waterdance"). Damien Douglas and
Horace Madison of Mandalay Alliance Entertainment serve as executive producers.

Valderrama and Talancon recently starred in "Fast Food Nation." Fishburne
appeared in "Mystic River" and "Akeelah and the Bee." Ontiveros starred in "Real
Women Have Curves," and Garcia starred in "Quinceanera." Valletta appeared in
"Hitch," and Morgan appears in the upcoming "Live!"
