Single-minded Mary-Louise

Mary-Louise Parker is single again - but this time, we
hear, it's her decision.

Four years ago, Billy Crudup pulverized Parker's heart
when he dumped her two months before she gave birth
to son William. Crudup quickly recoupled with Claire
Danes (that romance fizzled a few months back). But it
wasn't until last December that Parker found a hunky replacement in Jeffrey Dean Morgan, who plays Judah
Botwin, the late husband of Parker's pot-dealing character, Nancy, in Showtime's "Weeds."

"She's the best person I've ever met," Morgan recently
told an interviewer. "It wasn't something I was looking
for, and I don't think she was either, but it's going great."

In February there were whispers of trouble, but Parker and Morgan dispelled them
with several public displays of affection. But now, we hear, they've hit a wall. Friends
say Morgan feels she's not making enough time for him. Parker begs to differ.

"I'm a mother and my son will always get the majority of my attention," she was
overheard telling a lunch pal at Ammo in L.A.

While NYC-based Parker is on the California set of "Weeds," it remains to be seen if
Morgan will return for any more erotic dream sequences. His rep didn't call back.
Hers said, "I have no comment."
