Jeffrey Dean Morgan (JDM): Wow, Jensen Ackles. How are you, dude?

Jensen Ackles (JA): I was just talking about you, you idiot.

JDM: Yeah? Are you saying good things?

JA: Here, sit down. Jeffrey Dean Morgan, everybody. He plays the dad —
John Winchester — on the show.

JDM: Dead dad.

JA: Yeah. How are you?

JDM: Good, man. How are you?

JA: How's that coffee treating you?

JDM: Pretty good. We had a bit of a night last night.

JA: Yes, we did have a bit of a night last night, didn't we?

JDM: Yeah.

JA: Hey, well, that's what happens when sons get with their pops, right?

JDM: We reunited for an evening out.

JA: Yeah, that's right. I was just talking about how you croaked — and how it
affected me.

JDM: He's having issues. He's having a lot of issues.

JA: A lot of issues, yeah. Dean's (my character) definitely having issues on camera.
I'm just having issues because I don't get to hang out with him anymore.

JDM: Oh, God.

JA: I don't really like you. I'm just saying that.

TV WEEK: Are you totally off the show now, or are you going to come back
in flashbacks?

JDM: Flashback. Ghost. Who knows?

JA: You could be like Obi-Wan Kenobi (from Star Wars)... Hey, why not? Yeah,
I think they'd be stupid not to kind of reinvest in that character continually.

JDM: Mostly because it's just we have so much fun together.

JA: We do.

TV WEEK: Before you go, what show are you going to die on next?

JDM: Boy, I don't know. It's kind of a toss-up.

TV WEEK: They like to kill people on Lost.

JDM: I suppose I could go do that.

JA: Hey, it shoots in Hawaii, man. I'll come visit you.

TV WEEK: What are you working on at the moment?

JDM: I'm doing some movies right now.

JA: He's a big movie star now. He's gone and left us.

JDM: No. I'll never leave you. I'm going to call (show creator Eric) Kripke and beg
for my life and find a way to come back and harass these guys in some way.

JA: Good.

JDM: You haven't heard the end of dad... Poppa will find a way back.
