In 2006, Jeffrey won the Tater Top award for "Best Guest Star" for his roles
on Supernatural and Gray's Anatomy.
Jeffrey also won the Tater Top award for "Biggest Tearjerker" for his death
scene on Gray's Anatomy.
In 2005 and 2006 he was on three hit shows at the same time on
three different networks.
He grew up wanting to be a basketball star. "The only reason I went to college
was to play basketball. I injured my knee and couldn't play." He then left school
to pursue his other interests at the time: painting and writing.
In his free time he enjoys spending time with his friends and laughing
as much as possible, painting, writing and reading.
Jeffrey got into acting more or less accidentally. He was helping a friend move
from Seattle to LA, was going to stay for a weekend, and never left. "I fell into
acting, found out I had a little of talent, and pursued it." He fell in love with the
craft along the way. "Once bitten by the bug..."
Jeffrey is 6'2".
Jeffrey is a huge Seattle Seahawks fan.
Jeffrey has a dog named Bisou which means 'kiss' in French.
Jeffrey once played on a softball team named the “Big Ballers” with other independent film actors and actresses.
He is also credited as Jeffrey D. Morgan.
He had the flu when he audtioned for the role of Denny.
Jeffrey prepped for his romantic scenes with Katherine Heigl with Listerine strips, which cast member T.R. Knight always had on hand.
While filming his scenes on Grey's Anatomy, Jeffrey kept a bottle of water, his phone, a book and his sides under the covers of his bed.
Jeffrey turned down a role in the Oliver Stone movie 9/11 to do Grey’s Anatomy.
He was briefly married in the early 1990's.
Morgan has appeared twice on Showtime's Weeds (which returns in July), as
